Compare review software
With review software you automatically ask customers for a rating after a purchase or appointment. The software sends the invitation by email, text message or WhatsApp, puts all reviews in one place and lets you respond to them. With a review widget you show the reviews on your website, and with many packages your score also appears as stars in Google. Such a review tool exists for webshops, for local businesses such as garages, installers and practices, and for chains with many branches. This way collecting reviews takes very little manual work, and new customers see what others think of you.
Review platform, trust mark or collecting Google reviews?
The first choice is where your reviews will appear. A review platform such as Trustpilot, Kiyoh, Klantenvertellen or Feedback Company gives your company its own review page, where customers leave their rating. WebwinkelKeur and Trusted Shops combine such a review system with a trust mark for webshops.
Do you mainly want to collect and answer Google reviews? Then review management software is the right fit, which puts ratings from Google and other review sites in one dashboard. Next Review focuses on local businesses, Birdeye on organisations with many branches. For product reviews in a Shopify webshop there is Judge.me, for example. And if you only want to show existing reviews on your website, a widget tool such as Trustindex is often enough.
What should you look out for?
- Invitations: the price often depends on the number of invitations or reviews per month. Count how many orders or customers you have in a month.
- Integrations: check whether the package integrates with your webshop or CRM, so that the invitation goes out automatically.
- Reviews on your website and in Google: check which widgets you get and whether your score can appear as stars in Google and Google Shopping.
- Contract term and language: some plans run per year or quarter, others you can cancel monthly. Also check whether the helpdesk speaks Dutch.
