3CX is a phone system for business telephony that you can use in three ways: hosted by 3CX, in your own cloud or on your own server. The company has existed since 2005. You make calls with apps and IP phones, hold video meetings and answer live chat. There are also features for a contact centre and AI, such as call transcription.
You pay a fixed amount per year per system, not per user. The price depends on the number of simultaneous calls. For 8 simultaneous calls (16 to 40 users), Basic costs € 285, PRO € 380 and AI € 550 per year, excluding VAT. Hosting by 3CX costs an extra € 285 per year. 3CX SMB Free is free for up to 10 users, including hosting. You buy through a 3CX partner.
