The main difference
OTYS and Recruitee are both recruitment software, but for a different kind of user. OTYS Go! is made for agencies: recruitment and selection, temporary staffing and secondment, with lead and relationship management alongside candidates and vacancies, and your own website through the OTYS CMS. OTYS also names corporate recruiters as a target group. Recruitee is an applicant tracking system for organisations that recruit themselves, in which recruiters and colleagues assess candidates together. Recruitee refers recruitment agencies to a tailored quote.
Choose OTYS if
- you are a recruitment and selection agency, a temporary employment agency or a secondment firm;
- you want to manage candidates, vacancies and client relationships in one system;
- you want a fixed amount per month for all features, according to OTYS without extra add-ons.
Choose Recruitee if
- you recruit yourself as an employer, with your own careers site and a team that has a say;
- you want to start small: the Start plan is for up to 5 active vacancies, Advance and Optimize have no limit;
- you want to try it first: Recruitee has a free trial without a credit card.
What to look out for with both
Recruitee does not state prices on its own site; you request a demo or a quote. For its Best Practice package OTYS mentions an entry price from €1.099, with a licence fee per month and one-off costs for guidance when you start using it (October 2026); ask what it costs per month for your number of users. Recruitee contracts run for at least a year, although you can pay monthly. Both post vacancies to job sites and have AI features for searching, matching or screening. In the demo, ask about the integration with your HR or payroll package; OTYS mentions more than 200 integrations.
