Use the accounting software to create quotations independently and easily.

From the accounting software it is possible to recognise invoices and receipts in the software. This is often a part of an accounting package, but in practice you also often see an accounting package that can integrate with scan and recognise software. This software often has far more extensive functionality than a scan and recognise module in the accounting system itself. If your company processes a lot of receipts and invoices, it is advisable to buy a separate scan and recognise system.

The accounting software has an integration with the Dutch Tax Administration (Belastingdienst) for the VAT return. This lets you submit the VAT return directly to the Tax Administration. You no longer have to log in to the Tax Administration and fill in the VAT return manually. This saves many manual actions and you no longer make mistakes in the VAT return when retyping.

Some assets modules in accounting software can also record the location of a particular asset or indicate when maintenance is due. In addition, they can often show the value and history of the assets and make a schedule for when they need to be replaced.

A mobile app makes it possible to access the accounting software. The mobile app can often be downloaded from the well-known app stores of Microsoft and Apple. With the mobile app you can easily view your invoices, turnover and results.

If the accounting software has a current account module, it is possible to automatically determine/calculate the intercompany current account balance between BVs.

If a company consists of several entities (BVs), you can book mutual deliveries, shared costs or mutual receivables directly in the current accounts of both entities. This means you only have to make the booking once in the accounting software. Because you only have to book once, you can save a lot of time and the current account balances close automatically. This way you never have to check balances manually again.
