What is Flux?
Flux provides real-time information on the presence of permanent and flex staff on the shop floor. It takes the different working hours of shifts into account. You can also see ‘how far along’ employees are with their contract hours for a given period. That helps in weighing up which employees should or should not be deployed for the coming day or week. Flux goes a step further. It is built on the idea that information from the present and the past should help you think ahead. Data from Flux can easily be modelled. At a glance you can see, for example, where your forecast and the future availability of flex and permanent staff are out of step. That way you always draw up a watertight schedule and constantly anticipate the future with your workforce.
What makes Flux special?
The simplicity and accessibility of the program. The organisation gains more and better insight into the hours worked (per cost centre) and employees have insight at all times into their hours worked and personal balances. In addition, you can anticipate in good time thanks to our forecast and pool management module, so that your workforce is always perfectly matched to your amount of work. Something that for many companies can make the difference between profitability or not.
Examples: ministries, water boards, provinces, municipalities, the UWV (Employee Insurance Agency), the police and institutions with a public task.

Project managers, managers or other users in the time tracking system can approve, reject or change hours logged by employees. Before these are, for example, charged to the customer or passed on to the payroll administration.
Digital timer in the time tracking system for keeping an accurate time record.

Time tracking systems often offer the option to create multiple leave and absence types.
The time tracking software makes it possible, during emergencies or crisis situations, to give immediate insight into which people are on the company premises or in the building(s). Emergency registration is important for safeguarding the safety of your employees and visitors.
A mobile app gives immediate insight into who is where. The people concerned can then be marked as 'safe'.
Hours booked for work by external parties can be assessed, checked and approved.
The time tracking system makes it possible to register hours using a time clock. A time clock is a small unit that is mounted at one location or at several locations. Staff or other users can often clock in with a badge, key fob, bank card and nowadays also with a mobile phone. The hours then become visible straight away in the time tracking system.
Please note: some software suppliers do not have their own time clock, but integrate with a supplier who specialises in this.
Employees have insight into hours balances such as statutory and extra-statutory holiday hours, ATV (working time reduction) and overtime.
Staff can register the number of hours worked themselves via a mobile app.
Employees' plus and minus hours are tracked automatically in the time tracking system. Minus hours are the hours you work less than the number of hours laid down in your employment contract. If you work more than you have agreed contractually, these are plus hours (also called overtime). Outstanding plus and minus hours may offset each other.
The time tracking system offers the option to work with allowances. Depending on the applicable collective labour agreement (CAO), the company's own rules and individual agreements with employees, rules apply for allowances. For example for working on special days, at special times and for overtime.
