Twelve is a POS system for places that suddenly get very busy in a short time: sports canteens, stadiums, festivals, events, caterers and quick-service hospitality. The company started in 2007 with tills for sports clubs. The till is set up so that volunteers and temporary staff can work with it without training. You extend it with handhelds, self-order kiosks, ordering via QR code, a kitchen display and card payments.
Twelve does not state prices on its website. You book a demo, online or at your location, and discuss which set-up suits you. On the site you click through the software yourself in an online POS tour. The till integrates with your accounting software and staff scheduler, among others, and with inventory software such as Picqer and Apicbase.
