TYPO3 is an open source CMS for websites, intranets and online applications. It is there for small sites and for multinationals that manage dozens or hundreds of websites in many languages. You set permissions per user, work with translation workflows and connect it with ERP and CRM systems. Behind the project are the TYPO3 Association, a non-profit association, and the company TYPO3 GmbH.

TYPO3 can be downloaded and used for free. An agency can build the site for you; TYPO3 GmbH helps you find one. Every major version gets three years of free updates. If you want to stay on that version after that, you buy Extended Long Term Support (ELTS), for up to three years extra. You can try TYPO3 in an online demo.
