Float is planning software for agencies, business service providers and internal project teams. It originated in 2011 at an advertising agency in New York. You schedule people on projects, see who is available and how much capacity your team still has, and keep track of leave. With the Pro plan you also record hours and make cost estimates per project.
You pay per person that you schedule. Starter costs $8,50 per scheduled person per month ($7 when paying annually) and Pro $14 ($12 when paying annually). Pro adds time tracking, extensive reporting and SSO, among other things. Guests who only view are free. For Enterprise, intended for teams from 100 people, you request a price.
